It had been an unusually slow night for the slayers as far as the slayage stuff goes, only about six vamps and a demon so both of them were pretty worked up after having offed these "creatures". So, Faith asked Buffy if maybe she wanted to go to the Bronze for a while. Buffy saw nothing wrong with this so she said sure, why not. On the way to the Bronze they ran into Angel and Xander, Buffy told Angel what she and Faith had planned for the rest of the night and asked if he wanted to come along. Angel decided that he had nothing better to do so he said okay. Xander tried real hard to talk to Faith but she was just looking at him like, whatever, so Buffy told him he could come along too if he wanted. So the four of them headed to the club. As they walk in the door, the hear Oz start on some really sappy song that they all know is for Willow. So they all partner up and start dancing really close. Weird thing though because even though they were all partnered the way that you would expect, they were all very much together by the end of the song they had switched partners twice and Angel and Xander were together as Buffy and Faith were together. All of a sudden the band switches to the fast upbeat music that is expected at a club. Before they knew it Buffy and Faith are all over the floor and each other dancing so close that a piece of paper would have been in a very uncomfortable position if it were between them. Xander's jaw hit the floor, and Angel's expression changes to one of extreme interest, they never expected this from the two slayers. However it was turning them on so much so that they started in the dancing together. Now it's Buffy and Faith's turn to drop their jaws. Seeing that gave Faith an idea, she leaned in close to Buffy's ear so that she could be heard and whispered "Hey, why don't we all go back to my apartment and get rid of all of this built up frustration". Buffy although surprised was way eager, so she walked over to Angel and whispered in his ear. His eyes got so big and he grabbed Buffy by the hand and led her toward the door. Faith just grabbed Xander and said "Come with us, I promise that you will not regret it." So they leave and meet Buffy and Angel just outside of the door and head down the road together. Xander still without a clue asks, what's going on? And the other three said in unison, You'll see.

I guess now would be a good time to tell you how this is going to take place since Angel is supposed to lose his soul if he is with Buffy. Well, see, Buffy kept hounding Willow to find the answer to this problem since Angel had come back from Hell, and one day Will was reading through one of Giles' books and saw that this had happened before, how they had missed it for so long was a mystery. A slayer had fallen in love with a vamp before and somehow they got his soul back for him forever. Will did lots of research on the Internet and after about three months she had found the slayer and the vampire. After getting the okay from Buffy, Will called the slayer's last known phone number. Luckily it was still the correct number and Willow introduced herself as a friend of a slayer that was in love with a vampire. The woman on the other end of the line asked why she was calling her, so Willow told her that she knew about the same thing happening to her and wanted to know how to get the soul for the vamp to stay anchored even if he did the one thing that was forbidden to them, and that would be to experience sex with one that they truly loved. The line was silent for a while and finally the woman said there is a spell that a sorcerer called Amron had that would do the deed for them. Willow then asked if the woman knew where to find this Amron, and the reply from the woman was: In a town called Sunnydale. Willow said, What luck that is right where I am. However, said the woman, you must be very careful when you find him. He may be very irritated that you know about him. And please don't let him know that I told you about him or he will take away my husband's soul. After assuring her that her name wouldn't come up Willow hung up the phone and then went out to look for Buffy. First she went to Buffy's house and Joyce told her that Buffy had went to the library to talk to Giles. So, Willow hurried to the library and got there just a Buffy was about to leave for patrol. Buffy saw her and yelled out Hey, Will. Willow ran over to Buffy and told her what she had found. Buffy was ecstatic forgetting about patrol she and Willow went back to Giles' office and asked him if he knew anything of this sorcerer. After a few moments, Giles said that he had heard of him before but didn't really know anything about the guy. Then when he asked them why they wanted to know they hesitated and finally said, so that Will can learn from him some of the stuff that will help her in our battle against evil. Not buying that for one moment Giles said, Oh, okay. Be careful won't you. After agreeing that they would they started for the door. Giles called after that Buffy should probably get on with patrol now. After they got out the door Buffy told Willow to call Xander and see if he could find out where this person was since he had a way of getting the snitches to tell what he wanted to know. Then Buffy and Willow go their separate ways for the time and when Willow got home she called Xander right away. She told him what she knew and asked for his help. He said that he would see what he could do and they said goodnight. With this done Willow went out to find Buffy on her patrol. She found her at the cemetery fighting this weird looking demon. So she stayed hidden until Buffy killed it, then she ran over and told Buffy that Xander was going to help. Buffy and Willow then went to Will's house and decided that they had better get some sleep when there was a knock on the window. It was Xander, so they opened the window for him and after he got in and said Hi. He told them that one of the snitches told him that this guy lived only a few blocks from Xander's parents house. So Buffy started to get really excited and had to go out to get rid of some of her energy leaving Xander and Will in there alone. After a while the two of them were talking about how different it would be after they found this guy and gave Angel his soul for good when they wound up kissing just as they started though the phone rang and it was Oz. Hey, Willow said just a little guiltily, guess what? Oz said I give up what? And Willow told him that they found a way to give Angel his soul for good. All that Oz had to say was, cool. Then he asked her if she wanted to do something the next night and she told him that she wasn't sure because that may be when they give Angel his soul forever.

But, How about the night after she said. Again he just said cool. Then they said love a and hung up. Xander left and Willow fell asleep. The next day they all ditched school and went to this address that was given to Xander and when they knocked on the door a middle aged guy answered asking what it was they wanted. Willow told him that she was looking for a spell and someone had told her that he had it. He said and just who told you that? But she said that it wasn't important and asked if they could go in and talk about it. After they were all in the house and Willow told him what they wanted he said he had the spell but it required a great deal of magical energies and was probably more than she could handle alone. Willow reassured Amron that she would have help and it would be safe she knew what she was doing after a while the sorcerer gave her the spell and said it has to be performed exactly as written and there can be no substitutes or there will be serious problems. They all thanked him for his time and took their leave of him and decided that they would meet at Angel's mansion that night to perform the ceremony. Xander went home to rest so that he would be able to catch all of the stuff that would go on that night. Willow went to the occult store to get the ingredients that would be needed and used that night. And Buffy went to the mansion to tell Angel the good news. The rest of the day passes without much going on. Finally the time that they were all supposed to meet at the mansion was growing near so Xander left his house toward there and Willow left her house toward there. Buffy didn't have to go anywhere she was already there she and Angel had been so excited that they couldn't even rest. When all of the gang gets there, Willow instructs them all to get in a circle around Angel and hold hands. After everyone does what they are told Willow lights some kind of weird of smelling stuff and as everyone inhaled it they grew lightheaded and Willow started chanting something in a foreign language and all of a sudden there was a brilliance in the room that blinded all, but it only lasted a moment and then Angel let out the most horrendous scream so all of them knew it had worked.instantly. Willow finished the spell and told everyone that they could do whatever they wanted now it was finished.

That is how it came to pass that Angel can have sex with Buffy and not revert to evil Angelus.

Still clueless Xander is being a bit annoying because they will not tell him where they are going or why they are going there so he just keeps on asking "where" and "why", until he see's that they are getting close to where Faith lives then he just asks "why?". They all just tell him that he will find out soon. Finally, they arrive at the front door of Faith's apartment and she unlocks the door and tells everyone to get in and get ready for one of the best nights of each of their lives. Buffy and Angel need no urging they are in the door in a flash and poor Xander still wants to know what is going on because there is no way that what he thinks is going to happen is ever going to happen. Seeing the blank look on his face, Angel returns to the door and places his hand on his shoulder and guides him inside.
